Issue 6.1 Submissions - Open

We are now accepting poetry, short fiction, and creative nonfiction that engages with the theme "Environments" for Issue 6.1 of The Imagist. ⁣ If the more-than-human world could talk, what would it say? What nonhuman presences can we perceive if we learn to look and listen for them? What are environments? Where do we begin and where does our environment end?  From ecopoetry to climate fiction, we welcome work that thinks capaciously about this theme.

  • We do not accept submissions outside of our submission periods

  • Due to the high volume of submissions we receive, we are unable to provide feedback on submissions
